In case anyone didn't catch it, this was a very clever takeoff on the original series Star Trek episode, "Dagger of the Mind". The director of a mental rehab planet uses a mind training device to program and control residents. There were so many scenes that seemed to be taken directly from the episode, I'm sure someone will make a list of them...

I didn't notice that many scenes lifted from the show, but I immmediately recognised the following:
The plane'arium projector/roof looked exactly like the "neural nuetralizer".
The sound effect they used when hypnotising people was the same as in the original.
They used the name of the planet for the planetarium.
The doctor and stowaway had the same names as in the 'trek episode.
Capt Kirk experimented on someone with the neural neutralizer (but I don't think he blew up anyone's head).
