Tonight's episode of the UCB was better than last week's. I liked the skit with the massager and the group for ugly people. ========================

The massage sketch was funny... especially when the guy put the other dude's picture of his mother down his pants!

In general, I was bored with the episode, but the massage sketch saved the whole thing.

I always liked the sketch where Mark would sit out side in a lawn chair and crush peoples heads. It was one of my favorites. I loved the one where Kevin was in his neighborhood pinching people's faces and him and Mark got into a duel, it was hilarious!

Agree, shows they can be funny. But the show still needs work.

Nice. The show still needs work. UCB is obviously so far beyond the grasp of the average SP viewer that it's not even worth getting into. I watched SP last night and I couldn't believe how lame it was. Has the show always tried to appeal to the 'we giggle at farts and sex because that's all we think is funny and don't have any other frame of reference' or did it just slide downhill recently? I just got CC so I don't really know what the show used to be like. I read so many great things about it that I decided to see "Baseketball" when it came out. Hands down the worst film I've ever seen. Can't wait for the "South Park" movie.

I like the opening. You wouldn't want to hear a song during the opening of a show with that particular premise anyway. It's amusingly menacing. It was interesting also to see a little bit of the "private lives" of the members of the group, rather than just have them "frame" the skits. Sort of like watching Rod Serling wander off the set and light up a smoke. Every one of the four of them seems like a loser in some way, but a troubled loser--someone you would not mess with unless you wanted one of them to shoot a spear gun up your ass.
