Season 4

So, what did you all think of the first show of the season?

Well, I was literally laughing the entire episode. My husband usually only watches the eps once in awhile, but when he heard the Scooby Doo music in the background, he had to sit and watch, since we're both Scooby-holics. I was pleasantly surprised with the ep, since I wasn't sure how they'd top the other Halloween eps. Can't wait for next weeks Pokemon farce. LMAO.

Oh, so YOU're the one who started everyone thinking this is the beginning of the fourth season! It is not! Now, if you meant the fall season, you should have said "first show of the fall season."

I thought the season was running as such:

Season Three (1999) 301 : Rainforest Schmainforest 302 : Spontaneous Combustion 303 : Chef's Mama 304 : Tweek vs. Craig 305 : Jakovasaurs 306 : Sexual Harassment Panda 307 : Cat Orgy 308 : Stan's Angels 309 : Jewbilee 310 : KoRn's Groovy Pirate Ghost Mystery

Did they cut season 3 short by 5-6 episodes? Is it really Season 4?

Nope. I hear this is a Comedy Central error. Season four should begin next April, as the last two have done. But I must make a correction:

312 : KoRn's Groovy Pirate Ghost Mystery 310 : Chinpoko Mon 311 : Starvin' Marvin In Space

Then come 313 and 314.

The numbering remains a quirk in Comedy Central.

It was the same with the Simpsons. They aired them in a different order to which they were made, e.g. the last ep of the first series [of The Simpsons] was made before the first ep of the first series, but both were aired at the wrong times.
