Hey dudes,
I just checked my new South Park Season 1 DVD and episodes 1-6 have frequent and very noticeable pops throughout them in the audio. I bought mine at BestBuy in Toronto, Canada. I'm wondering if I got a defective copy or if anyone else has this. They seem to stop after episode 6 but I haven't checked every episode on disc 3. Thanks for reading...

I actually have noticed this as well. Also the false advertsing concerning the since deleted commentary is goddamn pissing me off!
Onkyo tx-595 reciever running in pro logic II mode had the same problems, I was worried it was the reciever since I just bought it.

I can't believe what crappy quality the audio is. I ripped one of the episodes and took a look at the audio track in CoolEdit, you can actually see tons of pops in the waveform without even zooming in.
Two copies from Best Buy and they both have pops and clicks. Horroible quality control. Guess the VCR recordings are good enough!
