A real SouthPark?

I was told by my relatives from Denver that there really is a South Park in Colorado. Except this South Park is a Township and not a corporated city.

The only "South Park" in Colorado is southern Park County, southwest of Denver. I've checked, double-checked, triple-check, quadruple-checked, etc., and I've never been able to find an actual town there by that name. There are South Parks in several other states, though.

I live in Colorado, and I do agree there is no actual town of South Park, but it is based off the town, Matt or Trey (I can't remember which one right now) was raised in. Plus my sisters teacher's sister is the actual bus driver for the town and she is who Miss Crabtree is based off of. I think it may be the town of evergreen, which is pretty small, but I always crack up watching because in some scenes they always show the cash register building which is actually in Denver. Just my 2 cents

I have heard that South Park was based on Aspen, Colorado. I have visited Aspen before, and the buildings in downtown Aspen are really similar to the ones shown on South Park.

Conifer, maybe? I did a search for his biography and the page I got said he grew up in Conifer. I need to consult a few more sites on this, though. I only had time to check one.
