Why do people hate celebrities? (was:Re: A question)

it wouldn't have involved as many people, but yeah...you'd have the coast guard and the navy involved in your search...it just wouldn't be televised.

i think the greater point is still the fact that he didn't ask for it. hell...that's not even a great example considering the fact that of all the media coverage of john jr. over the years THAT is the one that he had absolutely no control over.

my original post was:

ofcourse there wouldn't be as many people involved in the search (meaning that for every 10 people searching for kennedy, you'd probably have 1 or 2) but it's standard procedure to involve the coast guard and the navy in all searches for people lost at sea.

considering the fact that they found jfkjr. after...what?...a day and a half...i have no idea how long the search for john doe would go, but it's standard to search for for you until it becomes unlikely that they'll find anything.

that's beyond cynical...that's just silly.

no problem...but, my original point that you responded to was that the same methods would be used to find the person...the same people would be out there looking, there just wouldn't be the massive numbers involved in the kennedy search. if i just proved your point with what i was saying all along, i'm not entirely sure why you responded to my post in the first place.
