Dammit! I hate the Canucks. I guess I should have taken Keenan at his word when he said that it could easily take a full year to rebuild the team. We've got some great new players; Brad May impresses me and so does Bertuzzi and Ohlund. Anyway, we're done for the year.

Grrrr... we're not as alike as I thought... it's pretty obvious to anyone who dislikes Boston that Montreal is going to take the Cup!
And the Canucks really do suck... I completely hated them after their sellout uniform change, and after they screwed up the Gretzky deal... but I've decided to found a Todd Bertuzzi fan club... he's the only reason I watch the Canucks (along with Arturs Irbe... I knew he was awesome, but no one believed me).

Even if I weren't a Caps fan, I'd still pick them to win. They've got the better goalie, a better offense, they've gone 9-0-1 in their last 10 at home despite having 6-7 key players out _and_ they've been playing great hockey for the past month or so. I know the Bruins dropped at least their last two, possibly more. Bondra has been hot of late _and_ he tied Selanne for most goals in the league. Injured Caps have been out for something like 200 games combined this season and they still finished 4th in the East. It'll be a close series, but I've defintely got to go with the boys from Washington.

I don't think the Blues have enough depth to go 4 rounds & the Flyers are going to lose in the first round to Hasek, er, Buffalo. So who do I think is going? If he gets some support, Hasek could win it all by himself, as he amply showed during the Olympics. The Wings are just a good team all around, as are the Stars. I'd like to see the Devils with a bit more offense, but they've got a good goalie, so it could all even out. I'm pulling for the Caps, but all biases aside, I'll go Wings Devils, with the Devils winning.
