CC should be more careful

i feel that CC is possibly wasting their most valuable resource i love SP but the monatony of watching reruns for weeks just to wait for 1 new episode is alot to ask of any fan

why cant a TV station wait to release some shows so that they can release intially release like 10 episodes

i have noticed that alot of people that have been watching SP from day one cant stand the show any more because they are sick of always waiting

prime examples of shows that were killed by over exposure - married with children duckman (it took forever for new episodes to come out and when they finally did they never went back to the original episodes that were so god damn funny) home improvement (i love the show but come on it plays like 6 times a week) baywatch (cant ever get enough of good old t&a but you do get sick of the faces)

i feel that comedy central should be a lot more careful with how they schedule SP in the future because right now its a powder keg waiting to be defused

i love SP with a passion (and the fact that i post here about 10 times a day should be evidence enough) but asking people to wait several months at a time to see something new just to wait another 2 months its just too much at times

i hope SP has a long lived career and i wish matt & trey the best but i just hope the show doesnt die due to lack of material (although an even worse fate would be selling out to some gay station or going on a pay channel)

well that is all the rambling i have to do now so let me know how you all feel on this

But they're making up for it by releasing a bunch of little fun clips, like "O Holy Night" and "Bethlehem" and the commercial for Mr. Hankey.

true but still they oughta spread out new episodes instead of releasing them in bunches like they plan to do in march is it?

oh well i love SP to death but im afraid that they might disappear quickly due to poor marketing

In my opinion, R&S wasn't killed by just the limited new episodes, but when Nick screwed over John K. When Kricfalusi was canned, the show really went to hell in a handbag.

I never was really into Ren and Stimpy all that much, so I never took the time to find out about all this stuff. So now that I've been hearing about it alot lately for some reason, please fill me in: what the hell is everyone talking about? Something about someone getting fired and losing rights to the show?

who cares ren and stimpy sucks now it was only good for two seasons anyway

what i mean by overkilled is the fact is for about 5 years it was playing 6 times a week mon-fri and sunday

i dont care how good a show it is the most a show should be on in one week is about 3 times to keep from killing it

hell simpsons is on 10 times a week mon-fri at 6:00 p.m. and 10 p.m.

i love the simpsons and watch every show but no way can anyone crank out enough material to even come close to keep up with that

i realize that married with children and the simpsons have been around a while but i dont think that hurt the shows at all they had a chance to evolve from good shows to great shows over that time period (you ever watch the first couple shows from either one they looked like crap)

i am none the less huge fans of both i would just like to see the life of a show spanned out a little

what i guess im saying is that the simpsons for instance even though they show 10 times a week there are still episodes that they never show and episodes they play to death (halloween specials?) much like b&b they could play the same episode twice in a day but theyll show a new one once and then never again (it seems like)

i just feel that the upcoming SP sleepover on new years eve (i think dont quote me on this because i dont know for sure) might very well be a bit overkill

I agree, and i don't even watch it. I hate cc with a passion. They will abuse SP, use it for their own gain and then it will probably end up on some other network. I hope it does well and is on for a long time, but not on CC.
