This is really too sad. Veteran performer Shari Lewis lost her battle with cancer yesterday. I'm sure we all have fond remembrances of her TV performances going back at least forty years. She stayed contemporary and made children's and families' entertainment important and worthwhile. Lots of love.

OK, I'll come out of the closet, I used to watch Lamb Chop's Play Along when I was in high school. BTW, you think this will affect the 4th of July episode when it's ever shown again? (that is, will they remove the reference to Shari out of respect for her memory)

I'm not sure what they're going to do -- normally, I would think they would leave her in (like with the Simpsons and Linda M.), but in this reference she wasn't protrayed in a very positive scene. Unlike the Simpsons with Linda, I do not think this is Sharri's real voice. It would be a shame if they cut that scene in the SYN episodes, however.

I believe they will cut it. They should replace it with a parody of that 'manger babies' thing on king of the hill where garrison fantazises about killing luann platter and stealing her puppets. Actually,,id just like to see a mike judge character animated in the sp style.
