If "Planetarium" and "Cow Days" had run back to back, I would stop watching the show. Those were, by far, the two worst episodes yet. Pure unwatchable shit. I don't think I laughed once during Cow Days.
Luckily, the "Truth or Dare" episode was pretty good. But the quality of Southpark is rocketing downhill. They need to do something fast.

A cow cult really *could* have been funny. But they didn't do anything with it. Nor with Sung Li, nor with the game show winners. Let's face it: the Cow Days festival wasn't all that interesting. Can you imagine what they would have done with this material a year ago?

Your perception & mine match. You're telling it like it is and it's tough. Can only hope this is the equivilant to a sophomore slump & thing's will get better. Worse case would be burnout. From what I've been reading in this ng theres a helluva lot of "whistling past the graveyard" or denial going on. This ng seems to be afraid of negative comments even when they're from real fans.

Lemme pls inform you what I troll is. Someone who makes a general statement (South park sucks) without any backing, and then he does it in a place where NO ONE will agree with him. So that's a troll. This guy? Just expressing his opinion. -me
Whoa! Someone's a bit troll-happy here! That's his/her opinion, and a troll isn't someone whose opinion differs from your own--if that was so, everyone would be everyone else's troll. A troll would say something along the lines of, "southpark suckes. southpark fans are uglie and smeill. they need showers and sope. haha."
So, please be more wary of your branding--you can't just slap a "troll" label on random asses with the branding iron without good enough reason. Or else, you'll get quite a few people with sore asses.

Strongly disagree. I thought that Cow Days was great! I thought planetarium was ok. It's nice that finally someone says planetariums suck. I thought it was just me but staring at all those stars is just boring. -me

I dunno....maybe you never really liked South Park's style of humor, and were only attracted to it by the shock value. I think that's why a few people say it's "going down hill" or whatever. Sure, the initial novelty of swearing kids wears off....but the humor is better than ever in my opinion. If you didn't laugh at Cow Days, I'd have to question if South Park's humor was ever really funny to you! I mean...Ming Lee? Cow Cults? Kyle freaking out over dolls? Pretty much everything cracked me up. *shrug*

Yeah, the Truth Or Dare episode totally kicked ass! (BTW, what kind of dares did any of y'all have to do when playing Truth or Dare? I remember one very clearly, from some birthday party I was at when I was 7 or 8 years old--I had to make out with a tree. A *TREE* for crying out loud! "Ok, I dare you to make out with a tree!" "What?!? No! <whining> I don't wanna!" "We dared ya, so ya gotta do it!" "But...what if I really don't wanna?" "Then you don't get any cake or ice cream! No one does until everyone does a dare." "No cake or ice cream?!? Oh, *CRAP*!") But, I don't think the SP quality is rocketing downhill. Methinks it still kicks ass, as always! :)
