Why would they want to do that? Do they have another good cushy source of income all lined up and waiting for them somewhere else? I suspect CC is behind them 100% on this. Though I suppose it's possible M&T could feel exhausted trying to squeeze their heads for new ideas after so many years making so many episodes with such a hectic schedule.

I think they're just "going farther" for the sake of going farther. This was illustrated in the "shit-saying" episode when the HBC execs thought saying "shit" twice would top the previous episode where it was said once, then working their way up to saying it over and over.

Regarding last night's episode, didn't the boys already know about the dog's "red rocket" back in the first season when Sparky was having gay sex with other male dogs (in "Big Gay Al's Big Gay Boat Ride")?

Actually, their first unbleeped "shit" was back in season 2- probably by accident. The first time they showed the "Ike's Wee Wee" episode, Mr. Mackey said the word "bullshit". Everytime they reran it, it was bleeped. Apparently they make 2 versions.
