I'm calm..I'm calm..oh man, this is just what I need to hear before I leave for school. I was thinking about it most of the day. Anyway, a few questions (don't worry, there aren't many, and none ask for spoilers):

1. How long have you been here? If you've been here longer than now, have you been using a different name to actually respond? (Wait until C.S. hears about this...)

2. If you really are Matt Stone, you can probably get some proof across to us, right? So, if you *are* Matt, tell us an upcoming episode, and in that eppie's credit sequence, sneak in something to signal to us. Such as 'And to all you skeptics at alt.tv.southpark, it's me.'. And run that specific credit sequence slow (or at least, slower than recently), so those who don't tape each episode can actually see it.

And I'm not going to ask any more questions until I get my proof. <wonders if she should continue writing McCormick Pt. 3 and post Cliffhanger 1.5 (both giving Trey and Matt major parts) all things considering>

Well, you see, I wouldn't know the DNA of Matt Stone from the DNA of Barney the Dinosaur. And I certainly wouldn't want to confuse the two. I was a bit specific, but really, would it be *that* hard to throw a message in the credits? Or somewhere else? You were one of the skeptics, as I recall. You want proof? This is the way to get it. Well, that and Ashley's source, but even he could be wrong.

Well, here's the thing... a message in the credits very well might be that hard... I mean... it's kinda like... did you bring enough gum for everyone in the room? Meaning... if he's going to put one group of people in... wouldn't he have to go through all of them? Frankly, I don't want to watch 2 hours of credits. Secondly... character generation isn't his job. Considering the size of that staff, it'd have go through a bazillion people before it happened... and then it still probably won't happen for several months.

personally i think the best form of identication would be a picture of matt's ass..i mean we've all seen baseketball..so we would definitely be able to tell if it was his...and to make sure it is really him..he could sign it..nothing special..just a "this is my ass and i am the one on the list-matt stone" sorta thing...something to ponder anyway :) melissa

I'd say it's too soon to tell. Something good about this imposter, if he is one, is the way he put, very casually, 'Hi, I'm Matt Stone, I like the newsgroup, Trey and I are going to start posting here often.' He didn't even specify he was Matt Stone, it was simply his e-mail addy and 'Matt' in his sig. I can see Trey and Matt acting just as casually..unless, of course, he is. I think I should repost C.S. (Chauvlin Stegosaulvin)'s law of Trey and Matt impostors right now, since he isn't here to do it..:
