Could it be? I think the last two episodes kinda reflect that -- it seems like they're really scraping. Everytime there was a question about who did something, the lineup came back. How lame. I think Cartman's final words in the last episode should reflect the direction of the show "OH SCREW IT!". Yeah, Eric, let's forget about your parents and move on to something else here. Maybe they can get off the Cartman lineage boat and onto something funny?

They've done it before... they wrote "Cannibal: The Musical", didn't they?
I think they're spending a little too much time on other projects, and not enough on South Park.
They've got their "Baseketball" movie coming up, and I think they did a couple of indie films, too.

Jeez, it's only one fucking episode! Wait till the second season is over before making such an evaluation. BTW, the reason they kept bringing up the lineup was to make fun of soap operas with cliffhanger endings. I thought it was pretty funny.
