Kenny's Deaths are getting worse

Its me again. Yes Mill, your very right, Kenny's Deaths are getting rather -crap- lately... What ever happened to all those kewl deaths from the first season, like Kyle slicing and dicing Kenny to bits with a chainsaw? Or getting shot and then impaled by a flagpole?

But now, the best they can come up with is him dying from hitting his head on a shell (episode 309: Jewbilee). And his Death in ChinPok�mon episode was anything but funny. The fonics monkey death was okay, but theres just no imagination in Kenny's Deaths anymore.

Anyone else agree?

Anything beyond the first season, excluding the movie, is crap if you ask me....

Matt and Trey are creative people. If they wanted to they could make Kenny's death more exotic... I just think they are getting sick of the joke. To have to incorporate the same thing into a show over and over must wear thin after awhile. It's become like a catchphrase on a sitcom "Hey watcha watcha hey!" "Did I do that?" They probably only put it on the show to please the super fans and have lost their enthusiasm for the joke. They're adding Kenny's death because they have to not because they want to, and thats torture to an artist.

No, they don't have to kill Kenny every week. My understanding is that they like to kill him. At least they did in the beginning. But if they have tired of killing him, all the better. All they have to do is resuscitate him, or let him live, or suspend him in carbonite, or...

<rant> Kenny sacrificed himself, something he's done twice before and has always gotten a good reaction from the characters in the show as well as the members of the newsgroup. In this case, it's not about the size of the death, it's what he did to cause it that matters. Kenny has developed in the series from a flat character to a three-dimensional spirit of doing the right thing even when life has given you the short end of the stick, or the people you're saving don't care about you. </rant>

What was so wrong about the Chinpokomon death? It was quite original, and I'm sure it got everyone by surprise. A bit gross, perhaps?
