Okay, why am I having such trouble downloading the new Veal episode from Southpark X? Either the format is avi (boo!) or the download takes over an hour, which means I'm gonna get timed out (sometimes within minutes of completing the download). Aren't there any of the usual .rm files that take only 6 minutes or so to download? Please?

why "avi (boo!)"? i definately prefer avi to rm. real hasn't been very nice to me in the past.

Errr... DiVX is actually an AVI codec.....
Someone who favors .rm to .avi, or just about anything else, really, prefers .rm because of the smaller download time. Probably a dialup modem user. Actually, now that I read the above again, they did allude to download times being a major factor.
.rm quality is deplorable! It's acceptable for streaming video on a dialup conection, but nothing more!

A lot of the hybrid Mac/PC games use either Quicktime or AVIs....

I prefer avi and/or mpg, I think real player sucks, is there anywhere i can actually get the episodes on mpg or avi? The older ones are needed.

Ok I work for southparkx, we are currently having a little server trouble, ok to the person who started the thread, If you have fast internet (ie. cable, dsl, etc...) then getting an rm in 6 minutes is not a problem, but if you are on dial up, dream on... you will never get 21 mins of video on a meg file for any format... And for the avis' , it is a good format for pc, but I prefer rm's because most of the divx avis out there arent much better than the rms in quality...
