I watched the South Park "Super Best Friends" episode on UPN last night. They showed Mohammed uncensored, the depiction probably being more offensive than the Cartoon Wars scene featuring Mohammed delivering a pizza. They depicted him with magic powers like flying and flame vision, a reference to the occult that would surely get moozlums' loincloths in a bunch and cause them to riot in the streets over it. Not to mention that in the show's context he was portrayed as an equal member of the superhero club that included false prophets like Joseph Smith and the pagan and enemy Hindu god Krishna.

I haven't heard the DVD commentary to that one, but I'd like to. From Matt's voice doing Jesus, saying "Mohammed, the Muslim prophet with the powers of flame" - It actually sounds like they were in a hippy mood when they wrote that bit, trying to be inclusive, before the realities of the world crushed us all. Note how "Stan, I'd like you to meet SOME of the super-best-friends" Ahh. Back in the innocent olden days

As for our resident super-villain (and the rest)... I think they're an accolade. sort of like stalkers.

I watched that commentary a couple of weeks ago and it was very interesting in light of the recent controversy. They mentioned that they'd heard after the show aired that Islam forbids the portrayal of Mohammed and joked about how they were probably going to get in big trouble for doing it. I'm still surprised there wasn't any fallout from that, and about the only reason I can think of for that is the fact that they caricatured so many other major religious figures at the same time.

They also mentioned that Blainetology was a direct slam at Scientology. I wonder why Isaac didn't get his knickers in a knot over that one.

Mohammed was obsessed with semen, so the koran is full of advice on what to do with it, like how many times you must wash it out of your loincloth before going to mosque.
