Alcoholism episode mpeg?

Was the alcoholism episode recorded in some low quality setting of mpeg or something? The video was a bit blurry, and the audio screeched in my ears like an old RealAudio recording from the 28.8 modem days.

(if so, why???)

You're not alone, i noticed it too. I've been watching many episodes of late from bittorrented mpgs and watching the latest episode on my HD TV I noticed this episode looked the same on my tv, it was blurry. I only noticed it because it suddenly hit me, "Why does this look like an MPEG? I'm watching it on Comedy Central!"

I'm in NYC using Time Warner Cable, maybe the problem was local, as other posters say they didn't notice it?
