Ike, at end of the movie

I finally figured out how to determine what Ike says after the credits: I turned on the captioning.

He says, according to the captioning, "Guys out there is hurted." If you don't believe me, check it out yourselves.

Dude, that is SO last week...

Now we're onto the Sega Game.....get a controller!

Captioning isn't always accurate. You can't rely on it. Listen to it without the captioning. Doesn't it sound more like "guys out there is...hold it"? What the guys out there are holding is anybody's guess. :-)

Whereas, if you consider where we are in the film, and what Ike is about to do, "Guys out theres, hold it!" makes perfect sense. Ike looks into the audience, sees only a few people left, says the line, then eats the rat. He's telling the audience not to leave just yet and watch him eat the rat. This follows a long tradition of great comedies putting these little "Easter Eggs" at the end of their films. One of the greatest that I can remember is in "Ferris Beulers Day Off" when, at the end of the credits, Ferris comes out and says; "You're still here? It's over! Go home!" (this line, BTW, was never scripted).

I think whoever was in charge of the captioning probably was at a loss about what Ike said and guessed...

Ike doesn't look at the audience. He looks out the window, turns in the direction of the audience, sits, says his line and eats the rat. :-)

Maybe, but it's hard to tell with those beady eyes. I still say his line has something to do with him looking out the window and seeing some guys playing with themselves. I don't think he was actually talking to anyone.

Right. "Guys out there hold it" doesn't sound right at all! It sounds so stupid. Matt & Trey would NEVER write such a hackneyed line. It's just not natural sounding. -Serack

Now, come on... Do you REALLY think they script Ike's diologue? They prompt two or three kids (children of people that work on the show) to say stuff in the studio and then use what works best. "Guys out there hold it" is exactly the type of thing a little kid like that would say.

On another note, I would have loved to have been there when the prompted Jesse Howell (the usual voice of Ike, but not lately... he must be getting too old) to say "Donkey raping shit eater" for the movie. That must have taken forever, but I'm sure it was funny as hell!
