ok, the Great Expectations ep is numbered 405 on the south park site, yet two places where once can download eps (ftp.andysaudio.com and www.mrtwig.net) dont have this number. Mrtwig.net has the ep as 415, and I wouldnt be surprised if andysaudio is the same
Furthermore, australian tv has skipped over this episode, going straight from Timmy2k to Cartman joins NAMBLA (god that was dirty, but funny as).
So it seems the official site is wrong, but only one problem...WHAT HAPPENED TO EP 405?
Yeah, I've seen the 415 listing on a number of places, but Comedy Central's site lists it at 405. I'd rather call it what CC calls it, since they air the bloody eps...

Yeah, I know it is 405 not 415. Thing is ComedyCentral didn't say this right away, and since I put up the episode less than an hour after it aired, nobody knew what to call it. I took a chance at 415 and was wrong. It is episode 405 - Great Expectations. 415 airs this wednesday. -MrTwig (gotta updaye that website soon)

Shows are shown when they are finished. They are assigned episode #s in production, but several episodes could be worked on simultaneously. imo, it really is more correct to refer to shows in the order they aired instead of episode #, because that probably closer reflects the creators' intentions. They could have just assigned the episodes #s willy-nilly for all we know.
Pip's episode looked like it required more work than other ones. It doesn't surprise me at all that it was delayed if you want to call it that.

Another thing to note on this is that the name differs at CC also. On their main listing of the episodes, it is refered to as 405-Pip, however when clicking on the link you see the graphic posted here earlier wich says 415-Great Expectations.....
