Let me explain. I've been a South Park fan since the day our boys encountered the "visitors" on that fateful day. I've loved the show as it constantly evolved and became funnier and funnier throughout the seasons.
But ever since the middle of season 6, I've just found myself laughing less and less till last week, I watched an entire episode without laughing once.
Am I the only one who thinks that Matt and Trey either don't care or aren't writing anymore? The jokes are all so obvious you can see them coming miles away. The biting, vicious satire is missing, in its place are parodies of recent events. What happened to the classic episodes that were about the kids and what happens to kids as they grow up? The best episodes were the ones that contained off-the-wall, hilarious exchanges between kids (camping scene in Jakovasaurus is pure gold).
I don't know, maybe my humor is just changing.
