Seven episodes isn't enough

Hard to believe tonight's episode will be the last one until fall. I realize it's getting tougher for Matt and Trey to come up with ideas, but I sure wish we could have more than fourteen shows a year.

On the positive side, while I'm probably in the minority here, I've really enjoyed the latest cycle. I thought all the episodes were above average, and the Easter Special was absolutely brilliant. It's hard to predict what tonight's will be like, but I hope it's a doozy. It's going to have to sustain us for a few months.

Oh no I didn't realise this would be the last south park episode till fall. I agree with you, this season has been the best season in a while. I wish they wouldn't do this to us but I can't help but wonder if the new episodes will be even better. I still think it sucks.

How'd you like to be a Battlestar Galactica fan, having the season end in late March, then having to wait until January '08 for the next season to begin, with a series-defining cliff-hanger to boot?

They have to wait that long? most shows return in September or something. That sucks beyond belief.

Cable shows have no set seasonal beginnings. Galactica often counts on DVD sales of the previous season to fund filming of the next. Season 4 didn't even begin filming until 2 weeks ago.

Supposedly though, sometime in the fall of '07 they are going to have a 2 hour telemovie about the Battlestar Pegasus and what happened to it between the destruction of the colonies and finding the Galactica. Going to air on Sci-Fi one night and release on DVD the next day. That should help fans get through the dry spell and it also sounds like a very, very cool idea to me. That's one DVD on my absolutely buy list.

It's better than nothing. I wasn't a big fan of Michelle Forbes being cast as Cain and the though of watching the Gina Six Cylon descend into madness due to routine gang rape doesn't really thrill me.

I fully agree. The "Nagger Guy" episode was possibly my favorite, but I loved all seven episodes of this season!

I haven't hated any of them. A Million Little Fibers was the one that I least enjoyed during last season, but it's actually pretty good when you watch it again. Manbearpig is another one like that. All-in-all, I think Season 10 was good. Season 11 has certainly gotten off to a very good start.

I think season 10 started getting better when they showed the Muhammad episode. After that they had some pretty good one's. I didn't really like the two episodes you mentioned but I liked them taking a shoot at Al Gore and "global warming"
