Was I the only one who thought, as soon as they described how the kids will go into the glass contraption and catch cans like people do in those "money machines", that kenny would be the first one and that was where he'd die this episode? I was envisioning all those dead baby jokes I used to hear as a kid that involved blenders.....
I didn't think it was too bad (liked the first half best, kids dialog was great) but was disappointed that the Chef didn't sing us a song...

Yes, especially since it was an idea from the Mayor's office, I thought Kenny was a goner for sure.
Speaking of this episode, something I never noticed before the second time watching it: when Chef does his Braveheart routine, the screen format switches to letterbox. A very nice touch :)
You didn't actually acknowledge the fact that he didn't die in the plastic booth, you said that as soon as you saw the booth, you anticipated his death in it.

Yeah, not having Chef sing was kind of a letdown, but I did enjoy the parody of Braveheart he did. This is the second straight parody they've done with chef (Thriller, being the first), so I wonder if they will keep this up in the future.
