The movie

I posted this article in an AOL newsgroup, and I think it has obvious relevance here:

SOUTH PARK'S SUCCESS:

I think the reason people don't like it anymore is because it's not "the thing" anymore. All people follow are stupid trends. I am a huge fan of the show (an intelligent one, mind you) and I think the only real reason why the last couple of episodes haven't been gems is because...well, it's obvious! They've been working frantically on this movie! I am sticking with the show and I don't care what people say, because I love South Park. I believe the movie will revive the show's success.

ON ANOTHER NOTE:

Most parents aren't knowledgable or aware enough about South Park to even voice a good opinion about the show, let alone blame it for anything. The show is NOT aimed at children and it never was. If you don't believe me, I can tell you that the movie has officially been given an R rating, and from what I've read about what's actually in the movie, it is clearly not for children and not aimed at children. I don't think a kid would understand anal sex all too well.

Boy, you guys are lucky. South Park comes here in September; From Season 1... So, we can see the movie in Januari or something =( (Luckely a pay channel broadcast the entire first and second season last week, but it still is behind)

You guys,

I have the chance to see the SP movie this Thursday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got free tickets for an early screening of the movie- cool huh? I'll tell you all what I think (though of course not reveal anything about it) after I watch it.......and in addition, I bought the movie soundtrack. I'm gonna wait till after seeing the movie to listen to the soundtrack though. Just thought I'd share that with you :-)

Just saw the movie this afternoon.

Thought it was very funny; however, there was way too much singing.

When Satan sang, it just bored the hell out of me.
