In the group I went with I was the oldest at 25. My friends were 23, 22, and 18. The two youngest didn't get quite a few of the musical spoofs ....I had to keep telling them what show was being made fun of. ("Lay Miz? what's that?") :)

I must admit, the album does not serve as a good introduction to SP for the uninitiated, at least not for me. On the basis of Chef Aid, I thought it was crap because I didn't like the music. After hearing about it a bit more at work, a couple of months ago I chanced upon it in the Daily Telegraph TV listings, and decided to watch an episode just to see what all the fuss was about. I was an instant convert. It very quickly sent me into my second childhood! :)

I'm 22, yet I was once accused of having the mind of a teenager. A fifth year grad student was making posters for his thesis defense, and I recommended that he put mushroom clouds throughout it. He didn't like it all that much. :(

My wife was wearing a tie-dyed Cartman shirt, which flagged us for five high school boys who had been refused admission. They came over to us and asked if we would be their "guardians."
I pondered... I knew what this film's political message is. Should I expose impressionable young minds to an anti-censorship tract?
"Yeah, okay," I said.
At the box office, the cashier asked if I knew I'd be responsible for the consequences. I nodded sagely and turned to the boys: "No talking during the movie, guys."
They agreed and I signed a paper for the manager which I assume said that I would shoulder the responsibility if the kids tried to light their farts.
After seeing the film, do I regret my actions? Ummm.... no. Although, of course, those kids owe me a bottle of vodka.

I am 58 ant the wife is 49. We've been watching SP since day one and love it. I have to tape it because I am usually laughing my ass off and miss a lot of the comedy on the first viewing.
I have a friend who is in his early 70's who enjoys it except some of the voices are hard for him to understand (read Cartman) since his hearing isn't what it used to be.
We also know people in their 40' and 50's who simply "don't get it" which we attribute to their being ignorant since a lot of the comedy is satire and social commentary and these same people consider the national news to be highbrow.
