The Different Types of South Park Fans

The way I see it, there a 3 types of South Park fans.

#1The Rabid SOX Fans:

These are the fans that downloaded SOX when one of your friends told you about this "really cool cartoon that's a major pain to download". They have seen every episode, including the Piolet and Frosty, they make their own T-shirts, and can do reasonably well impressions of the Main characters *and* the Minor ones. (i.e., they will do Cartam, Ned, and Ike in the same sentence). They have every episode on tape, including a bootleg of SOX. They discuss all the little oddball jokes, and every little bit of symbolism. They try to understand what Kenny says, and they don't even visit Mike Kalec's web page. Die-Hard fans, the entire lot of them.

#2: The "Normal" Fans.

Well, as normal as a SP fan can be. They only miss a episode when they absolutely, positively cannot see it. They like the episodes, but their lives don't revolve around SP. They tried to D/l SOX, but they didn't want some dumb-ass cartoon cloggin up their HD. All in all, a well rounded person.

#3 The Badwagoner

These are the people who have seen a single episode, but quotes constantly. Usually the quotes are wrong. Example: No Doggy, those are MY Cheesy *poops*!. Or, they wear South Park T-shirts without watching the show. There is nothing wrong with these people, they are just not as devoted as the "real" fans.

Personally I like the #3 ones the best. Being a #1 I always stun them with the fact that I can sing the Kyles Mom's a Bitch Song faster than Cartman sings it. :)

Definitely not a #3, not a #2 either.

I guess I'm a #1, even though I havn't made a t-shirt!

But seriously, I haven't had a computer for that long, so I came around to the SoXMAS a while after it been on the internet, and also caught South Park at around the fifth episode, but I fit basically every qualifcation! :)

One thing I happen to do is to quote a few little one-liners from South Park (Doesn't have to be funny) just about every day. They just stick in my head, and can't escape!

Have anyone else found that this happens to them too?

I'm dEFINATELY a #1.

I like this.. this is good.. I consdider myself a high ranking #2.... IMO and IMO only, the #3 need severe counseling, and the #1 fans are just lamers... *shrug*

I also don't want to know what Kenny says. I understand that the whole point of the joke is that you can't understand what he says and if you did understand what he says it would ruin the joke. Sort of like when you have to explain this fact to people or when people want to know if the words will be "unbleeped" on the videos :-)

• those who enjoy the show once a week and get on with their lives.

2. those who devote their entire life to buying as much south park crap as possible, argue for weeks over who Cartman's dad really is, and cry, while running to their mommies, after one mediocre ep.

3. those condescending, hypocritical assholes who scold everyone for their musical tastes and posting habits, yet still post to alt.tv.southpark 9 TIMES IN 5 HOURS.

I'm not scolding anyone, unless they're a dirty canuck. and nod the 9 tiems in 5hrs... days off are boring. hey lanny, piss off. Just because your are 14 and your parents won't let you stay out after 9pm, doesn't mean you can take it out on me...

4. The people who are devoted to South Park and do not give into buying all teh crappy nerchandise to make people wealthy but instead, enjoy the show.

Although I think that I get a little bit into group 2 sometimes becasue i get really pissed when there are people that are all like yeah i love southpark it is the best i know everything about it. Then you go an ask them which episodes they have seen and they can only name one episode and it is the volcano one.
