South Park - With Apologies to Jesse Jackson (Mar 7 2007)

This ep was good at satirizing a recent event but it wasn't very funny. The midget thing was repetitive and just grotesque.

I like the way SP is not afraid to do this kind of thing and I often agree with its views. This happened in the ep where they keep telling everybody to vote even if it's not even going to be close.

In this one they satirized how people get carried away when somebody says "n*gger" and/or how people want ridiculous "remedies" for it, like taking culture classes. Also, Token and others didn't try to understand why Mr. Marsh said it.

I thought South Park was funny, why don't they go against the Grammy Winning Rap Star artists - who uses the n word in every other word of their rap songs. Why don't the Grammy Winners apoligize for their lyrics? mai

If somebody says "n*gger" we have to look at why they said it. You can't equate a black rapper saying it with Michael Richards saying it with George Wallace saying it as it means different things.

Wikipedia for that episode says a town in NY is trying to make it illegal to say "n*gger" which is a waste of time and would be struck down by the US Supreme Court, unless everybody's crazy. Washington or Oregon tried to ban sports teams named after Indians.
