I don't know about animated cartoons, but those in the comics have (eg. Gasoline Alley, Winnie Winkle, etc.).

Personally, I hope that the boys stay 8 forever, but I seem to remember reading something that suggests that they won't.

I stopped "officially" watching the show after the whole meteor shower fiasco, even though I have seen 2 or 3 other episodes that were made after that. I don't care about Mr. Wyland. They need to make Garrison a teacher again. In fact, it would be very interesting if they did.
