Parents, had it up to there with purchasing Pokemon paraphernalia? You are not alone. Check out South Park Wednesday (Comedy Central, 10 p.m. ET/PT) and watch the kids become victims of a mass-marketing scheme of Chinpoko Mon, in a wicked Pokemon parody. ("Chinpoko" is a vulgar Japanese term for a male body part.) Hypnotized by hype, South Park's kids are unable to stop buying Furry Cat, Donkeytron, Pen-gin, Lambtor and other toys. But they soon discover they are part of a plot to control the minds of U.S. youths. As research, creator Trey Parker and partner Matt Stone watched Pokemon videos and played the game. "Teletubbies was kinda trippy, but this makes NO sense." The show ends with all the kids attending a Chinpoko Mon camp, where Japanese dictators try to take over the world. The day the show was finished, Parker turned on the car radio to hear, " 'Come to Camp Pokemon in Santa Barbara!' They really had one for an entire weekend. It was really freaky."
