Don't know if anybody's posted this yet, but I thought it was interesting. I doubt we'll ever see the day that one of the networks gets SP.

It's a bit rough and raunchy, but at least a couple of the broadcast networks would like to get their hands on Comedy Central's hit animated series South Park. NBC Entertainment President Warren Littlefield and CBS Television President Leslie Moonves said there would be room on their networks for the series about a group of foul-mouthed grammar-school kids. Mr. Littlefield said that eventually NBC will program 24 hours a day, and "why wouldn't there be a time to put the show on?" Moonves, father of three, said he's "never seen the desire to see a TV show" as he has seen for South Park. "It would be great to have a show that's watched by people under 50," he quipped. But Peter Roth, Fox Entertainment president and the man responsible for the When Animals Attack specials, said his broadcast standards department would have to edit South Park so much that they "wouldn't be honoring the show to put it on Fox." Said Mr. Moonves: "I would rather my kids watching that than animals ripping each other apart."
