In 508 Towelie, there is some reference that the whole story happened in their heads, at the end, when they are back playing the okama gamesphere, and towelie the drug-addict towel is with them, and stan says that "a parachute level" is coming up, and they just experienced parachutes in the episode.
ANYWAY. in the next 911 episode, 509 obl has farty pants, towelie turns up again, all of which leads to the possibility that the boys were en-tranced into a coma-like state by their gamesphere and have, in fact, never woken up from this japanese-invented epileptic coma!
