"I would never let a woman kick my ass...if she tried anything, I'd be like..Eh! You get your bitch-ass back in the kitchen, and make me some pie"
"Hey, woman, you shut your mouth and make babies"
"if some sissy chick tried to kick my ass, I'd be all like, Hey, listen, missy, why don't you go knit me sweater before I slap you in the face"
" if some girl tried to kick my ass, I'd be like, hey, why don't you stop dressin' me up like a mailman, and making me dance for you while you go and smoke crack in your bedroom and have sex with some guy I don't even know, on my dad's bed!"

Well, only bits of the verse was posted, so as to disable not kill (we're not heartless, after all, just twisted). You got a recipe for those Pan-Galactic GargleBlasters? Pass it on!
First pour in the juice of a bottle of the Ol' Manx Spirit, then add a measure of water from the Seas of Santraal V (Oh, that Santraal seawater! Oh, those Santraal fish!). Allow 3 cubes of Mantovin Mega-Gin to melt into the mixture (make sure it's properly iced, or the benzine will be lost!). Allow 2 1/2 liters of swamp gas to filter through, and, over the back of a spoon, float a measure of Algorian Mega-Mint, reminiscent of the Algor Regions... sweet, subtle and mystic. Finally, add the tooth of a Rakasta, watching it dissolve, spreading the red flames of the Second Sun deep into the heart of the concoction. Add an olive. Drink... but...veeerrrryyy carefully...
But here on Earth, we have attempted to approximate the GargleBlaster using the meager fermented driblings that WE like to call alcohol:
PGGB #1:
1 1/2 oz. Jack Daniel's Whiskey 1 1/2 oz. Seagram's 7 4 1/2 oz. Gin 6 oz. Soda Water 1 1/2 oz. Peppermint Schnapps 1 1/2 oz. Johnnie Walker Red Label Scotch Dash of Cinnamon
Shake with ice, and strain into a cocktail glass.

Dude, my stomach is hurting just from READING these recipes (they sound like they could have a similar effect to a real Pan-Galactic GargleBlaster). I'll pass them on to a couple of bartenders I know (they can be kinda evil sometimes and these recipes could be just what they're looking for).
I'm probably wrong, but shouldn't that be "Ol' Janx Spirit"? It's been awhile since I read the books (all 5 of them!), but I seem to remember it as "Janx".

Ahh, the appreciation of fine (or just plain silly) humor. Truly it is a noble quality.
It all comes back to me now! Do Vogons have literary awards? You know, something like "Most People Killed Off By A Single Verse" Award. Good thing I'm still wearing those earplugs! <g>
I've been hooked on DA's HGTTG (and related readings) for about a decade and a half. Great stuff! Ever read _Long, Dark Teatime of the Soul_ (I think that was the title)?
You lucky s ... uh, guy, you. <g>
Actually, it was a Tolkien ref (and he refered to "Giant Eagles", not Rocs, although the terms in this case could be interchangable). Besides, I'd like to se you slip by my loyal army of dwarves! <g>
<while Covenant attempts to deal with thousands of dwarves, Dain circles the giant eagle around, lands and manages to rescue the fair Toni from the clutches of Sir Covenant>
It wouldn't be from the "incarnations" seris, would it (can't remember the author off the top of my head)?
