The girl who dumped him right before their wedding back when he was in college. He wrote Cannibal to, as he says, ridicule her. And Mrs. Cartman's first name is Liane, too.

If you can, get hold of the DVD of Cannibal- there's a director's track that explains a lot about her and his relationship with her.

I figured that out as soon as I heard about "Cannibal." Trey was engaged to Liane Adamo (they are still friends) when she met a guy who sang a capella. She made off with him, leaving Trey holding the flowers, as it were. Trey put that into the movie, making Liane the horse and the a capella singer the lead trapper (who traps her). Since then, he's put Liane's name on Liane Cartman, the hermaphrodite and Cartman's "mom," and his interest in her in Wendy Testaburger.

Strangely enough, Lianne apparently coreagraphed the finale/song-and-dance number in the film. I wonder why she agreed?

That's the one. I have a copy of the script, and the name is "Liane." Appaarently, Liane wasn't all that ruffled by all that stuff about her in the movie.

I liked it until the sled race at the end. I dunno, the girls flying off a cliff and being attacked by a bear just wasn't funny. Normally, I love SP's take-no-prisoners humor, but that sled race--and the boys calling the girls "skanky bitches"--left a bad taste in my mouth.
