Hi all,
I go on IRC a lot, especially during this winter break, and it's rare for me to find people in the alt.tv.southpark channel. I just want to know where is everybody? I mean, I guess this should actually be addressed to Bitchmom, but what time do people usually go on that channel? Is it just me, and that during this winter break I tend to go online late in the evening?

go to http://www.mirc.com and you can download the most current software.

You guessed right. :-) Now considering you don't have that large of a hard drive, you might not want to lose space to mIRC or pIRCh (irc clients) What you can do is go to the website in my sig below and that is a java entrance to the irc chat. As long as your browser is java enabled, you can chat from there. :-)

Well, on weekends, I'm usually on and off at different points in the day, from about 8 AM - 8 PM your time, Toni. The people from the UK (Mike Jakeman, Covenant, Stumpy, Mike Bungey, and if I'm missing your name, then I didn't know you're from the UK!) are usually on around 10AM - 1PM your time. On weekdays, I'm offline before 7 PM (again, your time). Dave Benson is usually on earlier in the morning. Ash and Kim, I don't think they're ever on any set times. Alyssa, MacEvil, and SnowCalico I haven't seen around lately. Secret Vampire is usually on around 5-8 PM your time. Gyrex is on, sometimes in the afternoon your time, and perhaps, on weekdays, the same times that Secret is on (though I haven't seen him there all week, what with me having to get off earlier and not being online b/c of school and stuff). If there's anybody else, I just have no idea when or not you're on the chat.
Well, if you're in there at 9PM (your time) that's midnight over here. It's probably a time zone thing, with the 3 (or is it 4??? AARGH! Well, if it's four, then subtract another hour from the times I gave above! <hits self on head>) hour time difference between the east and west coasts and all. Or, perhaps it's sometimes those server split things. I dunno. But, even I've noticed that nobody's on more frequently. Yesterday, while I was on, methinks there were 2 people that were also there.
Well, to be honest, I don't sit in there all the time cause back when I was, no one was really coming around. That and I'm just getting back to a normal schedule after the holidays. If people plan on being there, then I'll start hanging around again I guess. :)

I think it is probably mIRC that was being talked about. mIRC is a program that lets you onto IRC. There are MANY of these programs and some (most?) of them are free and some (most??) are shareware... I.e. it should be registered aftyer a short usage.
I think mIRC's registration is �10 or �15 (but it IS possible to use it forever and ever and ever without registering....
(I dunno if that means you can't use all of it's features though. You DO get a "please register" screen to tug at your conscience.....)
