Episodes 206 and 207

While skimming Taison's site, I came upon these two future shows. 206 is to be called "The Mexican Starring Frog of Sri Lanka" and 207 is "Flashbacks"

I don't even want to GUESS what 206 is about, but 207 sounds like one of two things:

1) They're going to have an episode in which there are clips from past episodes. (Not likely to be done in only the second season)

2) We'll get to see the boys at a younger age. Perhaps learn how they met? Sounds pretty cool to me.

But then again....Trey and Matt did give us that warning in "Rolling Stone". They said the episodes would get weirder and weirder until they'd be so fudged up that no one would watch them. Anyway, time will tell.

Oh yeah...and since all the new episodes are in summer, I guess this means no
new holiday episodes....but who knows. I don't care really, I like 'Pink Eye"

Oh god, no! They wouldn't stoop *that* low! Besides, South Park won't work all too well in clips. It's just not that kind of show.

Now *that* sounds sweet. I also wrote a story about that once..a little short, maybe I'll rewrite it and post it here.

<frowns> The holiday ones were the best. 'Pink Eye'-classic. 'Thanskgiving'-good (not phenominal but good). Christmas-has to be one of my favs. Tom's Rhinoplasty-<falls down laughing, remembering how great that one was> They just keep getting better!

I'm sure other people have noticed this, but we've never seen the hair of Stan, Kyle, Cartman or Kenny.

Wait! When Cartman dressed as Hitler in Pink Eyes we saw his hair. It may have been a hairpiece or his real hair was dyed, though.

Why would they do that, considering how all of their success is dependent on South Park? Maybe it's one of their strange jokes(i.e. the fireside chats)...

Of course, they've sort of dug their own grave, doing almost all of the voices themselves. I keep wondering what would happen to South Park if they became less involved. Imagine Yoda without Frank Oz doing the voice. It just wouldn't be the same.

I think its the opposite, they've dug Comedy Central's grave. CC own's SP, and they want it no matter what, so they're going to keep Trey and Matt happy. If M & T left, then CC could keep SP on the air, but they wouldn't have much of a staff. A few writers, no director, and no main voices.

Cartman and Stan would have to remove their touques, and Kyle would have to lose that... whatever it is he wears. None of the characters would look the same. In the Ms. Ellen ep the kids were dressed for winter at Wendy's pool party. Face it the kids have only 1 change of clothes. They even wear mittens all year round apparently.

Uh, I don't think so. I read in TV Guide that it will always be winter in South Park.

Uh...thats not what I meant. I meant since all the new episodes will be shown during the summer months, no new episodes will be on the air during the autumal and winter months, when 3 of the major holidays occur. This means that when Christmas, Thanksgiving and Halloween come around, they will most likely be the ones from last year.

I've notice that too. Such as the stock scene of the kids in Mr. Garrison's Class. Kenny is always shown in the roster, even if he's already killed off before.in the episode.

Recently, I watched #206 and noticed the background of the Denver school. It was first featured as being clear and green, then at the next shot of it, there is snow already on the ground. THe cuts we see during the game, involving Nurse Golum's dinner at the Brosflovski's is at night at Southpark, not the daytime we see the finals from in Denver. Go Figure.

...except for Wendy, who was wearing a bikini. I think Bebe might have been in a bikini too.

For one thing, it's funny, for another it makes things easier not having to worry about clothing. I imagine thats why we see so much "stock footage" in class & crowd scenes even tho sometimes it doesn't make sense from a continuity viewpoint.
