All in all, I think the season has been pretty good thus far. The bad have been OK and there have been some excellent episodes. Here are my very brief thoughts on each episode:
The Ring
Not great but it had some very good parts. Some parts were uncomfortable.
Who Is The Coon?
It was embarrassingly poor upon first viewing, but it has gotten better.
Margaritaville
Very good episode.
Eat, Pray, Queef
Good episode, although I disagree with the notion that men fart and women queef. Women can fart just as good as anyone. Maybe not as good as moi, but they can hold their own until the optimal moment of release.
Fishsticks
Excellent episode. A gem.
Pinewood Derby
Good episode, but also not so great.
Fatbeard
Excellent episode. Another gem.
Does anyone agree with my reckoning? Does anyone care?

Not bad for a season opener. Kenny had some good lines, and we knew what he said. Mickey Mouse being a freak is always good. The one thought I had was the Jonas Brothers. The last brothers group we had were the Gibb Brothers known as the Bee Gees. So, the Jonas Brothers would be known as the ... oh! That's how the little girls got confused and Kenny got his. LOL
The Coon, starting out with an Obama poster. Yea, we get it. :-(
It started out quite lame. Matt & Trey started out with an excellent premise, invested it with relevance and ... it was gone! :-)
Any Terrance and Phillip heavy episode is a good one, eh! Is it just me or do M&T make Canadians funnier than they should be? "That's where babies come from!" LOL!
Meh, though it was a rare look into the psyche (psycho) of Cartman.
This took a big dump when they thought Space Bucks were worth something. I'm surprised they didn't let loose the crab people to fight.
Agreed, the best of the bunch. It takes the glamour we've been giving these pirates and shoves it down our throats. And I loved the final scene, though they did a bit better than the seals.
I do, the only thing better than watching South Park is posting about it (well, maybe not but, aw meh!)

I think some people see South Park as the whipping dinosaur, and whip it they will at every opportunity. I'm more forgiving because it's basically one bloke writing the show and the show is still a quality product. Admittedly new episodes are generally less tolerable upon first viewing than their counterparts from yesteryear, but they all become good before too long. My recollection is that season 10 was generally detested by everyone here, in part by me too, but I can't see an episode that I don't enjoy when I look at the list. That's why Fatbeard was so good; it was enjoyable straight out of the box.
Unless something extraordinary happens, we'll have South Park until at least the end of 2011. I'll be here and I'll be watching. I won't run away when there's an apparent misfire or even if there's a genuine misfire. I've just run through the list of all 188 episodes, and I can't identify any episodes as genuine misfires. Some seemed so at first, but recovered well with time.
A lot of the season 13 episodes just bored me to death. I don't know what the difference is, but I can't really pay attention to the season 13 episodes.
We need more two and three-parter episodes. Cliffhangers is what gets people going.
