Well since Kelly is on the other side of the world, and I don't think Kenny can afford a long-distance phone call every other day, the relationship will probably fizzle and die.

Lemme field this one. SnowCalico and Kim and most of the other fanfic writers have at one time or another created girlfriends for Kenny in their fanfics. I guess to some people they're made-up, for the rest of us, they aren't.

The Kelly I made (the one that was a female clone of Kenny) was reduced to nothing more than a puddle of protoplasm on Stan's front lawn thanks to a syringe full of Jell-O pudding thrown by Cartman. So, she's pretty much dead.
