Howard Stern uses South Park clip.

Did anyone notice that Howard Stern uses Kyle's mom "Wh-wh-wh-what?" clip has a sound effect?

Perhaps, Fred figured that since Howard's parents are Jewish, he probably thought that Kyle's mom's "wha-wha-what!" sorta fit right into Stern's childhood.

Another radio personality who has used a SP soundbyte is New Jersey 101.5's morning man Jim Gearhart, who is a big fan of the show, and has of late punctuated his "Countdowns until the new auto insurance bill is approved" with Mr. Hanky's "Howdy ho!"

Hell, my local "Modern Rock" station uses tons of SP sound bytes. Latest one I remember is them saying ome prize for a contest and then cutting to Garrison saying "Holy poop on a stick" (from Damien). They also played the 2 Christmas songs a ton of times.

Then there was the afternoon one of the DJ's at the college radio station brought in a mini-disc full of SP/SOXMAS stuff, and between each song, they played about 5-10 sound bytes. Sounded funny as hell.

I't be cool though if they sold SP sound bytes on a CD like those old Sound effect CD's like I used to buy in the duscount sectinon ;).

I guess I'll add my own little DJ story, even thought I'm pretty sure every DJ uses South Park clips. Except maybe the Christian DJs. Anyway, even though Don and Mike don't like the show, Mike never hesitates to do his incredibly horrible Cartman, and they bumpers have mini-clips in them. Technically, they don't use any clipsduring the show, but WJFK uses them a lot.

Interestingly, Stern has said he couldn't get into "South Park" (a little jealousy, perhaps?). I guess Fred sneaked them in behind Howard's back, and Stern just goes along with it.

Funny, also, that I remember hearing fairly recently that South Park was rated the most politically incorrect show in TV, and Howard Stern's E show #2, and Howard was pissed off and had never even seen SP. I guess he's seen it now... I wonder what he thinks of it.
