THEY BLEEPED CARTMAN'S LINE!!!

I noticed recently on this re-run of the "Death" episode, that Cartman's line about what Kyle's mom is was bleeped. Are anyone of you upset about this? I wonder who thought of that? That sure was f***ing stupid!!!

They may have just bleeped it as a sales tactic for the "uncensored" videos coming out. If one hadn't seen the original "dirty jew" version of "Death," one might be more compelled to purchase the video. They might pull something similar with future reruns.

I just saw the Death episode and I'm perplexed why Comedy Central would bleep out the word "dirty" unless Jewish people were complaining about this particular scene in Death. Perhaps it was considered too racist to call Kyle's mom "a dirty Jew" and Comedy Central's censors had bleeped it out or Matt and Trey did instead of redubbing the scene with another word instead of "dirty". My money is on the theory that many Jewish people were offended by the "dirty Jew" remark by Cartman and Comedy Central bowed to politically correct pressure and bleeped it. Other episodes with racist remarks will probably be re-edited in the future. I read in Variety a few weeks back that Catholics were upset over the scene in Big Gay Al's Big Gay Boat Ride where Christians were compared with Nazis and Republicans. So don't be too surprised if this scene is taken out in future airings of Big Gay Al's Big Gay Boat Ride on Comedy Central. If MTV can butcher up episodes of Beavis And Butt-Head and Nickelodeon can censor and alter episodes of Ren & Stimpy then so can Comedy Central with South Park. Remember, they are all owned by the same company, Viacom.

CARTMAN'S MOM: "... She tells me that this show is naughty and it could make you a potty mouth."

CARTMAN: "That's a piece of crap! Kyle's Mom's a dirty Jew!!"

CARTMAN'S MOM: "Well OK hun."
