I've put these in the order Channel 4 showed these, so don't tell me I've missed the later eps out or that I forgot the proper order.
301 - Rainforest Schmainforest This gets 8.5 out of 10. A very strong start and middle (mainly thanks to Cartman) really got me into this. And the obligatory moral - "You Americans [insert any other country or continent here] sicken me. you waste food, oil, and then you tell the rest of the world to save the rainforest because you like it's pretty flowers". A real good opener for the third season.
302 - Spontaneous Combustion This has got only a 7 out of 10. It didn't really DO for me, and the sub-plot turned out to be as good as the main plot (if not better) due to the very end part <g>. But the main plot wasn't really much, it was just a bare bone and not much meat.
303 - Chef's Mama 7.5 out of 10. That's a pretty misleading title. I actually quite enjoyed this episode - don't ask me why - and I got more outta this. The plot really got fleshed up, and it was almost smile-a-minute comedy. Chef being turned into a man for whom work means EVERYTHING was brilliant. And the asshole eye doctor.
304 - Jakovosaurs Hmmmm. For once I agree with everyone else - this episode did suck a bit. I made an effort to enjoy it, but still only a 5.5 out of 10. The start was so-so, but the episode went into a predictable misguided conversation attempt plot. And Cartman getting some more authoritah - it pushed the episode up a tiny bit, but they should've fleshed it out more, like in Chicken Lover.
305 - Tweek vs Craig 8 out of 10! I found the Mr Adler-dead girlfriend subplot wonderful, causing Richard to act in the craziest manner. And who could forget Cartman going mad over "hershong ga-shirta, herlong shirta", or Tweek 'n' Craig BOTH deciding not to go to the fight at the start.
306 - Sexual Harrasment Panda 7.5 out of 10. A clever episode - the plot on it's own is a bit predictable though. The unbelievable parody of patronising child safety 'n' protection mascots and the combination of music from an era which deemed the word 'sex' to be more obscene than 'fuck'. Such a good mickey-piss-take out of how Americans love to litigate.
307 - Cat Orgy "WELL I'M A BADASS COWBOY LIVIN' IN THE COWBOY GAME, WICKY-WICKY, SLASH GO-GO BANG-BANG!" Cartman & Shelley work surprisingly well in this episode, bringing this episode's score to 9 out of 10, the highest so far. A lot of people (you know who you are :)) disliked the episode because it was too limited and didn't have "all the boys together" in it. I didn't think about this, and I enjoyed this episode for what it was. Judging from this episode, I couldn't wait for Two Guys.
308 - Two Guys Naked In A Hot Tub I wasn't to be disappointed. This episode did drop below average (for some reason I found THIS episode to be a bit limited in setting) but still pretty good! Charlie's Angels and the homosexual situations integrated well together. And the ATF...what a laff! This groovy one gets a pretty durned cool 8.5.
309 - Jewbilee WOW! I thought. If the last two episodes were like that, Jewbilee will be good! And it was so! I ignored the whinges some had about the meteor shower episodes, got my head down and thought it was brilliant. The Semitic music in the background, the evil elder, the ridiculous Boy Scout travesty, the Squirt leader, Moses, Haman, Kenny smashing his head in and saving the day...KICKASS! This one also got 9 out of 10. And since everyone else thought that Chinpoko Mon was even better, I hoped that the trend would continue.
310 - Chinpoko Mon It did, but not as much as I hoped. Coming from an ex-Pok�mon fan, this scored an 8. The only thing that stopped it dropping below Chef's Mama was the Wild Wacky Action Bike and Alabama Man, the latter of which still sends me into spasms of laughter. Frankly, I found the piss-take funny, but the penis jokes won through in the end.
312 - KoRN's Groovy Pirate Ghost Mystery Better, and much, much, funnier. This scores nine points. Cartman mistaking his mother's Antonio Banderas love doll for his Xmas present <g>, Kenny's costume, <g>, the dog eating Kyle's grandmother and the town's subsequent reaction, the lost glasses, failing trap, the overall Scooby Doo-esque action combined to make a brilliant score.
This is as far as Channel 4 have got. I'm still waiting for Hooked on Monkey Fonics, but I still have a little anticipation for SMiS. Overall, the meteor shower was a brilliant idea, and everything just got better from then on.
