I caught the last ten minutes or so of the "Anal Probe" episode last night. I noticed that Cartman's voice seemed to sound exactly as it does in the current episodes. I thought I remembered Cartman's voice sounding deeper in this and other early episodes.
Is it my imagination, or was Cartman's voice re-dubbed to make it match the more recent episodes?

If his voice sounded as clear as it does in the current episodes, you've got something. Otherwise, no go. I recall Cartman sounding like he still had food in his mouth when he spoke in the first season.
and remember that certain scenes in that first episode were part of the unaired pilot and some were newly fiilmed. So the animation and cartman's voice changed somewhat from scene to scene, especially towards the end, where alot was changed.
