Deliberate continuity "error" in the movie

When Mr. Mackey is singing "It's Easy, Mmmkay," the writing on the two chalkboards repeatedly change very quickly, even though there was obviously not enough time for anyone to have erased them and write over them.

Usually when things in a movie background change from one shot to the next, it's an error. But this was very deliberate, even if it is impossible. It's no more of a continuity "error" than Kenny being alive in an episode despite having died in the preceding episode.

It's as if Parker and Stone just want to say "Fuck continuity!" Good for them. As long as the TV show and movies stay funny, then fuck continuity.

this one is probably less deliberate, or mabey even more so. didn't sadam die when the canadains farted on him? in the movie the newsreporter said it was wild boars or something

and we have yet to see ugly bob, where was he?

ACTUALLY.. regarding the fact that Sadam was dead from the "Not Without My Anus" episode I actually figured that one out.. It may not hold water.. BUT.. my theory was, as the week before in Cartman's Mom is a Dirty Slut they have a COMMERCIAL for the movie coming up NEXT week.. even Stan says.. "DUDE.. I gotta remember to record Not Without my Anus NEXT WEEK!".. so in that context...

NONE of the events in Not Without My Anus EVER happened.. they are ENTIRE fiction.. it was a MOVIE... that's it.. I had the same question about Sadam in the theater.. I sat and thought on the drive back and that's what I came up with..

any thoughts?

First, a quick note. In television cartoons like South Park, continuity will often go straight down the toilet for the sake of a joke or the narrative.

Also, when Cartman runs onto the stage to shut off the power, he pulls the power lever down. But that's the same thing Anonymous did to turn the power *on*. Shouldn't Cartman have had to push the lever back up?
