"Summer Sucks" Episode

I didn't really like it. I found it to be strangely concentrated around two or three events. Um . . . actually, no, I think it was a typical episode. I guess for some reason I just didn't like it. But aven that's one of the great things about South Park - you never know what to expect (although nine times out of ten I like whatever it is). ~~

I don't watch Dr. Katz (no TV), but didn't anyone else think that Dr. Katz's analysis sort of disrupted the mystique of Mr. Garrison and/or Mr. Hat. Although it was not a conclusive, I still think it gave away too much.

. . . Or maybe it was a fantastic episode and I'm just in a terrible mood? I don't know . . .

You're in a terrible mood. That episode was excellent! One of the best so far, in my opinion, along with Mr. Hanky, Ike's Wee-Wee, Death, and Terrence & Phillip. ========================

I think that it may've created an easy explanation as to why Garrison always has Mr. Hat - but then when Mr. Hat's eyes moved and he turned up in that sauna/steam room, it sort of busted the analasys a bit. Keeps you wondering if it really is Garrison controlling the puppet, or the puppet controlling him...

BTW, does anyone know if this Mr. Hat disappearance will be referenced in the next new episode in a few months, or do you think it'll probably be back to normal like always?

Hard to tell, might be, but I didn't think of it when they mentioned that. Haven't kept up with the news enough to be able to apply it to another event though. But a more simple answer might be that they are just showing how the mistake of one person (or the parents of that kid in this particular case) can affect the lives of the rest of us. Kid blows himself up, no one can play with fire works anymore. Kid kills himself, no one can watch South Park anymore? yea like I said, might be.

BTW - Fireworks are only *completely* illegal in Denver County, CO (at least, that's what I hears... we gets Colorado news on our satellite dish)

I don't know the answer, but for some odd reason I really like Mr. Twig. Maybe as much as Mr. Hat, even . . . I suppose my mood's improved :P

Anyway, personally I doubt they would install Mr. Twig as a regular character - character replacing doesn't seem to be common with them in my opinion. But I suppose it's almost impossible to correctly guess what Matt & Trey will do next ~~
