You can buy it on VHS if you are willing to cough up the $100 retail price for the video. You're better off buying the DVD or laserdisc of the movie since it will be cheaper (around $30 retail) and in the widescreen format plus the DVD version is supposed to include 3 theatrical trailers for the film.

Yeah that's TRUE but you probally won't find a store that will stock any copies for sale. For $100 you'd be better off buying a second VRC and making a copy of a rented tape. The pice wll be redused to under $20 in 4 to 6 months or you can buy a used copy in January.

Can you buy the DVD?

Heck, it's already available for viewing at Marriott hotels. I'm sure other hotels have it as well.
