Cable Ace Awards

Anyone see the guys on the Cable Ace Awards tonight??? I thought that it was pretty funny and they did a good job. The audience really responded well to it...

I was rather disappointed. They really toned it down. There were a few spots where I was thinking 'Alright, here it comes. Kyle is going to go off on Cartman' but that time never came. I did like the gift certificates instead of awards line, though.

Smith, I understand what you were going through watching the Cable Ace Awards show. It was almost 2 hours before the boys of South Park made their appearance to present the award for Outstanding Cable Talk Show. The rest was just liberal "tree-hugging hippie crap" torture to quote Cartman. 2 hours plus of liberal do-gooders talking about "good" causes like The Big Help and wearing their symbolic yet meaningless red ribbons. "Democrats piss me off!" to quote Cartman again. At least seeing the boys of South Park made it worth the watching even though we had to wait until Michael Bolton finished singing (Yuck!).

Heh... I told one of my friends that they were going to be on there, but since programs like that always save the best for last, I knew that they wouldn't make an appearance until near the end. It was just too predictable. Anyways, I didn't watch it for two reasons: 1) What I just said, and (2) I forgot about it because I went out with my friends. Oh well...

Just caught the SP gang on TNT's presentation on the Cable Ace Awards show tonight. They mentions award given last night. Did they win any?

In what capacity did "South Park" actually appear on this show? Was there a short like the Leno appearance? I'd also like to get a copy if anyone has it. I have everyhing else on SP to trade or I can pay for a tape postage, etc.

The boys made an appearance during this year's Cable Ace Awards presenting the award for Outstanding Cable Talk Show. The awards show only aired twice on TNT.

Come on - some one has to have it on VHS. I'll trade for it. Let me know...
