Went to see SP:BL&U

I went to see the SP movie again with my friends yesterday. The kickass part was that we were the only ones in the theatre, so Chad and layed in the aisles and watched it. We all got up and started dancing and clapping during the 'Uncle Fucka' song, and I sang along to all the songs. Two manager type guys walked in after about 20 minutes, and I thought they were going to tell us to take our seats or quiet down or something, but I think they figured out we were all together and since we were the only ones in there and weren't bothering anybody, they left. Movies are so much better when there aren't people around to tell you to shut up.

Just out of curiosity, what city are you in, where you can actually see this film with nobody else in the theater? (Or was Edwina working as ticket-taker?) ;)

Even at 1pm on a sunny weekday well after the premiere, the showing I saw drew at least 100 people.

Sounds like around here... When I go again next week, it'll probably be just me and my friend... The only time the theatre was even CLOSE to full was the first time, opening nite. People here are too conservative!

Oy, same here! I was at the second showing in my town (my mom refused to take me to the first, b/c she said it might be crowded) yet there was under 10 people there!! And, it's already out of theaters in my town. <runs off grumbling>

It's no longer in any theaters in Lansing, which really sucks. Oh, hi Kyle, by the way!

Ick! Mucho suck-o!!! And, SP: BL&U didn't get much publicity in my town. In NYC, there was LOTS of publicity, though...I think it's still in up there. Last time I checked it was, anyways.

As of today, it's only playing in three theaters in all of NYC. All three are in Manhattan, and two of the three theaters have very limited showtimes.

Why is this happening? The theater was packed today at 3PM, when I went back for the third time to see this movie, and the 8:30PM performance was already sold out.

Somebody is clearly dropping the ball, here.

Yep. Twice. Once with my sis in Washington, and the second time with my sis and Black Mountain near Oakland, CA.

Dancing in the aisles is just sad, man. Sadder than dirt.
