Yes Eric Stough is often credited Eric "butters " Stough. In my head Butters has all the caracter traits of the main caracter in The Idiot by Dostojevski, appart from the nervous epilepsia,and though his name is not Leopold but Leo I see a connection to the detail. The lesson is excactly the same, it's amazing. I add that I've only seen up untill episode 125, so I certainly don't know the hole story about Butters.

Yeah, he is, isn't he?! And Kenny is *just* like that character in "War and Peace", you know, the guy with the hard-to-pronounce surname. Can't think of what his name is but he's just like Kenny except for the hood, muffled speech and getting killed all the time.

And yeah, sometimes I do feel like Kenny's parents do need some sense beat into them.

Wouldn't it be cool if that actually worked? I mean, if you could actually beat sense into people? I think there's be a LOT of beating going on at first, then not so much.
