I wonder if Trey or Matt have seen Veggie Tales. There would be a lot to poke fun at in that show.
They seem to be really up on popular culture so it would not be surprising that, since they poked fun at Teletubbies, Veggie Tales would be fair game.

Ack, blasphemy how dare you slander Veggie Tales! I know it has christian overtones but its hilarious. I mean they spoof Star Trek, Monty Python and the Holy Grail and more. It is very witty, I like to compare it to Muppets, Tiny Toons. YOu know those shows that are for kids but that got humor only adults can understand. And the theme song
"If you like to talk to Tomatoes, If a squash can make you smile..."
And of course 'Silly songs with Larry' is to die for *grin*
But I digress...

I don't mind the "religious overtones", but I still thought it was extremely childish. I mean, I got the references to Star Trek (in the one I saw) but so what? Just making the ship looking vaguely like the Enterprise does not a joke make.
On the plus side, it was extremely easy to riff on, a la MST3K. I had fun! :)
