Yeah, but with an obese prisoner with dulcet voice, not a crumbling has-been artist, standing in for the Gloved One. (Of course, Jackson provided the voice for him).

Maybe Martin Jefferson? Some stars don't want it to get out that they did a voice or a song for a show or movie. You won't find James Hetfield listed on SP:BLU's credits for "Hell Isn't Good," but the voice was unmistakable, and Hetfield finally admitted to it the following February.

You all may be right. The credit at the end of the episode was for a "John Jay Smith". Some research on my part showed that the producers and people associated with the show weren't allowed to reveal if the real Michael Jackson did the voice or not. Looks like something he would have done, doing the voice if they agreed to keep it quiet. Odd, since Michael Jackson impersonators are a dime a dozen.

REMEMBER:

During the episode of the Simpsons in which Lisa gets to see the new Itchy and Scratchy movie but Bart does not (punishment), Lisa praises the movie:

"And there were celebrity guest stars! Dustin Hoffman, Michael Jackson...they didn't use their real names, of course, but you could tell it was them!"
