Ok, this is like a little explanation for my next fanfic:

During my time away I got addicted to the game and show Pok�mon. For those of you unfamilar wth either:

The Game: Pok�mon the game was created in 1995 in Japan. It consists of the Red, Blue, Green, Gold and Silver packs. The object of the game is to catch all the creatures (called Pok�mon), of which there are about 150. To get them all required trading wth people who had a different pacek, because no pack has all the pok�mon. This game became very popular in Japan, and so ths year, the Red and Blue packs came to the USA (The Green pack isn't neccesary, it just contains the evolved versions of the creatures.) and it s doing pretty well so far.

The Show: In Japan, popular games are often made into cartoon shows, Pok�mon was no different. The show stared a young boy named Ash Ketchum, who wants to be the best Pok�mon trainer ever. He is joined in the series by Brock and Misty (Misty only comes along because Ash owes her a bike). He has a few pok�mon, but hs favorite and pretty much the srat of the show is Pikachu, a lttle yellow Electric Mouse. To complcate matters, theres Team Rocket. Team Rocket s an evil organazaton out to trap all the rarest pok�mon for themselves, and thats where Jessie, James and Meowth come in. Jessie (a well built redhead female) and James (a lavender hared male) are the two humans sent out by their boss to get rare pok�mon, and after awhile they get ther sites on Ash's Pikachu, and dedicate most episodes to catching it. Meowth is a pok�mon who looks like a cat, and serves mainly as a translator, seeing as humans cannot understand pok�mon language (All pok�mon, save for Meowth, can only say their names).

My Fanfic: I'm not going to reveal much now, but the scamps are gonna have to face Team Rocket, with the help of Pikachu, and Ash's gang will get lost in South Park. OHHH this s gonna be FUN! :D

(Can't you just imagine Brock and Kenny staring dreamily at the same girl? or maybe Team Rocket giving Kenny some survival tips which he can't concentrate on because he's too busy gawking at Jessie? heheheh...) I'll just wait for yours, which is bound to kickass...

Okay. I'm gonna stand up for Snow here, for several reasons. Jeff, you are now officially at the top of my "incredibly pissed at" list. First off, that's a *lot* of stuff to make up, and I doubt Snow would go to that much trouble for a lie. And it *isn't* made up, because I watch and like it, and a friend of mine watches and likes it. Not only that, but there's websites for it, my favorite of which is http://CoD.dragonfire.net/pokemon/ This is not a bunch of made-up crap. It's valid, true information. Don't jump to conclusions.

I can't see what use one would be... he sleeps all the time except when he's eating? Not exactly my idea of a highly useful Pokemon... :)

pokeman is some crappy japanese virtual pet kinda thing- bit like a tamagotchi on the gameboy/n64/playstation (i think). 2. Tamagothci?? Where did you get this? Its nothing like Tamagotchi except that you need to raise the critters levels. Perhaps you're speaking of Pocket Pikachu, which is a lot like Tamagothci. Pokemon is a roll playng game n whch you must collect all 150 of these animals called Pokemon, and beat a series of trainers.

4. Due to the fact you got most of the informaton wrong about it, I'm assuming you've never played it. So how can you call it crappy? When you actually play it, than you can call it crappy. Heaven sakes some people are rude.

that was a spelling mistake.

i was saying this based on old information, that is what some of the previews compared it to, and maybe a lot has changed since then. also i saw an advert for it on the n64 AND playstation (import from japan) unless they made an error, it might have been a similar game that probvably wouldn't be released in the west. who knows?

Its on regular Gameboy. It's not on the playstation as far as I know-isn't likely to hit uk shores (caus we get a thing called taste sometimes) It IS like a tamogtchi thing(i.e. you have to look after the thing, then make it do things) For the PSX I'm waiti' for an english copy of Monster rancher!!

Gameboy colour= 56 colours on screen at a time-you have a pc/mac...therefore you REALLY don't want one!

Actually it's on the N64...and was goona be on 64dd(as a different game i.e. a sequel)but it has apparently been canned as has the whole 64dd console(correct me on that if it's wrong as this last bit was in a Gamesmaster magazine!!)
