Somewhere between the Civil War reenactment episode and the Kidney episode (I can't tell exactly where -- my tape of the eps between them is loaned out), a new element was added to the already-image- heavy opening title scene. In the wide shot of the whole town, there's a long, red, Independence-Day-movie-type spaceship, or similar thing, in the sky at the upper right center.
What the hell is it? I don't remember anything like that. And as we all know, most everything that gets added to the title sequence is something that's been featured in an episode.
